X30 sound output

I am the third owner of this Axim. The other two owners hardly used it and it looks like new. The sound output is weak with internal speaker and with headphones, but not distorted. What is the output impedance of the audio output? I can get plenty of sound if I use amplified computer speakers, but am disappointed with the Radio Shack40-1441 Amplified Speaker System (portable folding). If I drive the RS speakers with my Sony Walkman I get plenty of volume. Am wondering if this is just an impedance mismatch.

Their is an option for volume on the top bar. It looks like a loudspeaker, make sure its turned up all the way to get highest audio output.

"Dumb is as dumb does!" I had looked in Settings for a system volume control but there it was in front of my face! Setting it higher solved my probllem. Thanks for helping out a sixty-one year-old who is still looking text rather than symbols.
