Can't even hard reset!
My Axim the other day just started showing vertical lines in a range of colors, mostly whites and greys, all fairly narrow (1-2 pixels perhaps?). Hard reset is not working. I've never had a problem like this before. Any thoughts?

None of those happened. I've taken good care of it. I didn't drop it or set it down on concrete or near a microwave. It worked great for several years (including in the morning) and then was broken in the afternoon. no distinguishing event. Still can't reset.

Take the battery out for an extended period of time, couple of hours, fully charged and then reinsert, back up before you do!

I dont know, I just left HP over charging/battery issues. 2 rx series.. under warranty, couldnt get it resolved. new batteries.. different chargers, same issues. just a thought, dell has been more reliable than HP for me.
