sorry.. the proper thing would have been to pull the battery, open it up and pull the backup battery, then dismantle and use a hair dryer at low heat (at most). Then put it in a bag with some of those silca anti moisture packets for a day (easy to find in other boxes and bags of electronics). There are some other methods, but thats the home brew method.
Once you've powered it on with the water, and now it doesnt power on, yeah... its dead. Hard to say what the water got to, but at worst, youre probably looking at an ebay unit with a dead screen and using that mainboard.
