Built-In Storage Versus SD Cards

As an Axim x3 owner I know Ram storage (main memory) is by far the fastest. Does anyone know whether the internal built-in storage (not main memory) provided in the axim x30 is faster than a 60x or even a 133x Secure Digital Card? I just moved my Avantgo from main memory to the built-in storage and it downloaded so slowwwwly... so I moved the program back into main memory again. I know Skype actually recommends pda owners install Skype for pocket pc on an external storage card. I moved skype 2.2 for pocket pc to my sd card and it works as well as when it was located in main memory, thus freeing up valuable main memory space. Thanks for any postings!

I've had an Axim for years, and I've never used the BIS, I don't really consider it as usable space.
I install almost everything to my SD card, and a little in main memory. Also, I keep data files and stuff on memory cards.
See if you can save the Avantgo downloads to a memory card.

Thanks for the replies!

Hey, Yeah I will have to use that software to show the difference in memory benchmarks, what a great idea. Thanks!
