X30 not reboot after flashing it

Since I flashed my DELL Axim X30 a few days ago, it is not responding anymore. I tried the magic combo keys described in this forum: didn't make it reboot.

What do you suggest to help me since before flashing its ROM (WM2003 SE French), it was working correctly : except Bub battery error recurrent message, and a poor autonomy on main battery : no more than 2 hours even with power consumption to its lowest and WIFI deactivated. In fact, that's the reason why I wanted to flash the ROM as the English version of WM2003 seemed less bugged than the French one I was using, which by the way had less patchs/updates available.

Before trying to change the ROM from French to English, all was fine EXCEPT this damned backup battery (Bub) which refuse to recharge... so I removed it in order to put a new one. Could the absence of the BuB be the cause of my PDA not restarting anymore after the flashing process -which apparently however was ok. ?

Please someone, any help would be great. But my concern is : can I get it working again with some magic combo keys (reset + jog dial + contacts + ...) since I have no Bub anymore ??

Thanx

first replace your backup battery. there is no way you can lose the bootloader so it will work with the magic keys no mattery what. after you replace your backup battery charge your pda for a few good hrs. then without removing the charger use the boot keys, reset+power+jog dial+contacts. make sure you release only power button. (it might take up to 2 seconds before the power button starts blinking and another second for the boot screen to come up). of course have your sd card formated with fat16 and the image for your x30 on it. (also make sure you have the correct img file. combo/ or non-combo)
