Using my X30 with its origanl battery the system shut down went into hibernation it said.

Put in a new battery restarted it was a crash,all data deleted just normal when i get something like the power wrong!

Went through screen alinement etc reinstalled from back up to find the date 2004? Changed time & date with up/down "triangles" but year only had & still has the down "triangel".

I can change date down to 1980 or perhaps even to 1888?? But i cant get it back up past 2004,what can i do??

Chances are your device just cant take the future, its jealous of newer devices and wants to go back to the year when it was cutting edge.

Have you tried another hard reset. And not just the one after your system crashed.

Reset several times.

The Dells still the fastest best PDA with its 624 processor i bet its just fear of the short battery life that keeps other PDAs inc.Dell x51v slower.People are STUPID becouse to have 624 or more is great & it can be slowed down to max the battery life,a slow one cant be made faster!

Ill try yet another reset& hope someone brings out another GOOD replacement

Just set the date to the current date, susanx30. Use the soft keyboard or graffiti.

Yeah that is true. I was just joking anyway.

Its too bad we cant upgrade os like you can on a pc. Otherwise us axim users could be using wm6 no problem, b/c 2003se is already starting to get the cold shoulder from many software companies.
