Hmm X30 White Screen Of Death

Strange...
My X30 (running Rom version A06) has been stable for over a year.
Today it powers up to a White Screen Of Death.
I note that ActiveSync has no problem communicating with it - my files and apps are all there.
I tried soft-reset, then hard reset - but the screen never changed from white - even tried pushing the hard reset "confirm" button (Contacts) at the appropriate time.
Now I'm really annoyed, so I pull the battery and leave the thing alone all day.
No joy.
Backed up and successfully restored the ROM. Still WSOD.

Now what? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hm, maybe it just takes awhile to load. I know that when I soft reset I also get the WSOD for a few moments before it fully loads. Maybe you need to wait awhile before it loads.

Hmm... good thinking. Left the unit on - but undisturbed overnight (USB cable plugged in for power). Still no joy.
BTW, seems like the hard-reset did something - had to re-establish ActiveSync partnership, and all my Outlook stuff was wiped.
Just no screen display.

Any other ideas out there?
Is there a connector inside I can re-seat?
Is there a screen replacement I can do?

Sounds like bad connection in the flat-cables inside.
Try to unscrew the 4 screws behind the rubber-things, remove the battery, loosen the band-cables. One of them has a slide-lock, with hooks to keep the lock in place, and 2 of them have locks that you open by lifting them a couple of millimeters.
Check for bad connections, and put it together again, and se if it solved the problem...
