Replace display light?
My Axim X30h's light has abruptly stopped working. When I switch it on, I can barely make out it is on, but there's no way I could see any display. Does anyone know how I can have this fixed? I pretty well depend on my Axim for reminders, address, even check emails when I'm not close to my laptop. Also, I'm due to be in Italy to visit my daughter in about a week and really depending on this for my GPS program for directions! Would really appreciate some speedy helps!! Thank you all in advance!
Esther.

I am glad to see the light comes on when plugged in but ... !

I don't own an X30 but based upon your last comment, it sounds as if your display is dimmed all the way down on battery power and not so much on AC power.

Have you tried adjusting the backlight setting son your pocket pc (as Paulcb alluded to in the previous reply)?

If manually adjusting the backlight settings doesn't do the trick, you may need to perform a hard reset.

Thanks so much Paul and Julie. Paul was right, it was dimmed right down ... but how it happened I have no clue, I was in the middle of using Word and a reader and all of a sudden this happened. I did not change any setting. But, very grateful for you help, both of you. THANK YOU!!!!
