Storage card not found

I just bought a 4GB storage card and put it in, but the PDA is not finding it or recognizing that there is one. Anyone know what the problem might be?

I actually figured out what the problem was. The old Axim 30 can not run a HC card so I exchanged it to a 2 gig SD and all is well. :):approve:

Have you tried different cards, and have you also tested out those SD cards on a PC (using a USB card reader)?

if the card don't work on PC (in windows file explorer) and in your PPC (it happend to me long ago)
- connect your SD with a card reader and format your card (hope nothing important is in) with Paragon Partition manager (it can see every partition even damaged)

X30 and 4GB SDHC card

I too tried to install a 4GB SDHC card only to have it not recognized. Does anyone know of a way around this or what the upper limit for SD storage addressing is?
