My husband and I are visiting Naples, Italy and had my Axim x30h stolen from our backpack today! I have come to rely on it for so many things in life. Can someone please advise me re what would be the best to replace this? ... since Dell abandoned us?

Thanks so much, I'll look into it. I wonder if there are any others have models I could compare, or where I could get another Dell Axim somewhere because of all the accessories I have for my x30h.

You should be able to get a used X30 on ebay for a good price.

Are you wanting to replace it while you are traveling?
Are you still in Italy and where are you heading next?
Are you going to be in England at any time?
Perhaps you could buy one on UK ebay and have it shipped to one of our UK brethren, either to send it on to you or pick up if you are going there.
You could also look at the classified section on this site.

Thanks Box, I see there are a few used ones on ebay ... I'm a little cautious in case it doesn't arrive in a good condition! But, it's a good idea.

We are still in Italy, but heading home soon. I am so lost without all my informations! ... and calendar!

If any of you come over to Naples, be sure to wear your backpack in the front!! And don't take notice of even young teens who want to practice their English!!! Sadly, we were trying to be friendly and they had others at our back helping themselves to my daughter's Garmin and my Axim (in front pocket)!!!:realmad:

Don't be afraid of buying on eBay. Just make sure the seller has a return policy. Pay the insurance and search for refurbished ones. Since you have all the accessories I would suggest you visit Northern Technical Group LLC at eBay Store - Northern Technical Group LLC: Servers, LCD, Computers Right now they have one for $95 item number 180256253622. Even if some else buys it, the seller will put another one up for sale at the same price. They do have a warranty. They have many of them. Then again, you can buy one from another eBayer which I did and am very happy. So many people are getting blackberryies, etc. then they think they have no need for the trusty X30. I love my X30 more then the X51 because of the little turning knob on the side. Hope this helps.

Many prefer the X30s 624mhZ because of its speed, the knob on the side and there are so many accessories and replacement parts on eBay. You can also fine new ones and refurbished ones done by Dell.
