"a error has been detecter" error.

Hi,
I had my Axim X30h (624MHz) for 3 years and has been great but suddenly turned into this problem.

The problem is that it suddenly goes off and when I turn it on, it says that "a error has been detecter with memory or something" and asks to press Address book button to fix it, but it happens again.

I Hard Reset 'ed the system but it occured again, formatted my SD card, no luck.

From what I heard it seems that I have to re-install the ROM, so I went to DELL but couldnt find the ROM, all there was, was ROM updates, not the core ROM itself which should be WM2003SE.

Please show me the path.
Sincerly.

Hi,
I upgraded to A06 but the problem occurred again, I taped the battery to make sure that its intact, same results.

Is it maybe that my battery has problems? since whenever I leave it on charge and the light is green, suddenly it turns orange and starts charging again.

And if its the battery, why it happens to my other extended battery too? are they both defected?

Thanks,
Please do help since my Axim is my only choice of listening to music and I'm dying without music.

I'm guessing it is a battery or something else related to power & charging inside the unit itself. I say this because my x30 mid of 4 years is having a similar, if not the same, problem. It started off intermittently, like if I bumped the unit too much it would turn off and then show the "a problem has been detected in the memory" message after turning it back on. Sadly, I can't suggest any fixes as I just went the route of buying another used x30.
