Hi, I am new to this device, a friend of mine got it used and the battery was dead. we order a charger for it and have been tryingto charge it, with no luck.

The orange light on the top will come on, and if I wiggle the charger it will change to Green, but only for a second and then goes back to orange.

I was looking at the connector in the charging port and I think they are messed up. :o

When charging correctly what color should the light at the top be? :rolling:

it should be amber/orange when charging. and then green when it is almost full, about 85% upwards.

The sync port connector of the AXIM X3/X30 is a VERY delicate thing. Please be very careful when inserting a plug!

Your connector may have a bad contact. On the other hand, if the on/off button light comes on, the connection should be sufficient for the battery getting charged. Good luck that the battery is still in good condition ...
