On my x30, I show an excellent wireless signal. However, when I go to the Start screen and tap on internet explorer, the internet explorer screen comes up for a second then returns to the Start screen. Any ideas about this problem? thanks.

Hrm, that should be the correct & default homepage. Have you tried starting Internet Explorer while not connected to wireless? Any difference in behavior?

Unfortunately, no. I tried internet explorer without wireless and no difference. Any other suggestions? I assume this is not related but when I click on Help from the Start menu the same sort of thing happens. The Help screen appears (without any content) very briefly and then the screen returns to the Today or main screen. thanks. Jeff

I don't really have much to suggest other than a hard reset, if you haven't already tried it. Since hard resets wipe out all data and loads the OS fresh, you should have the programs you use on the Axim handy to reload, and your PIM (contacts, calendar, etc) data backed up should you decide to go this route.
