Hmm Noob here! my prob. is that i replaced the backup battery. now? ................

2 bad things happened. the stupid scroll wheel dooflicky came off and i had to McGyver the damn thing cause the little spring took a flying leap. 2. the little bars that attach cables to the motherboard? how the he..*cough* heck do those go back on. the brown ones that click into the dock for the screen cables and what not. i somewhat have them in place.. i just know they are not right though.
now my sceen flickers in an out occasionaly..rainbow colored stripes, if i jostle it to much...

i need to know exactly how those suckers fit in so i can get the darn cable to sit snug.

thanks y'all!! there is such a wealth of information here..this is where i got the info on the backup battery replacement. good stuff peeple!! Thanks so much!!

Cheers!

Not sure if you've seen this video already or how much it would help you, but it helped me put back my old x30 together fine. Well, it was acting up before, and was acting up the same way afterwards, so I didn't break anything else at least. :D

ok...

i got it fixed. the itty bitty clamps are goofy, but..i did in fact get the vid cable back in it's proper place. though while doing that the spring for the freakin jog wheel thingy, went AWOL. so least i got the vid working. i didn't like the jog wheel thing anyway..it was annoying.

TA!
