How should I store an X30?

I don't use my Axim X30 much and I'm tired of having to recharge it.
So, i backed it up and was going to remove the battery.
But now I'm thinking that all that will do it ruin the backup battery if I
leave it in that state.
Catch 22. If I leave the main battery in, it will die. If I take it out,
the backup will die. I've bought a bunch of PDA's that were left in a drawer
for a year or more. The batteries don't come back to life.
So,
What is one to do?

Unfortunately, there's not much you can do. If it were me, I'd take the battery out and store it in the frig. Then, once every six months or so, I'd recharge it. Even then there's no guarantee. The other option is to just leave it in the cradle all the time.

If you're not using it any more, why clutter up your drawer with it? Just sell the thing on eBay and forget it.

My 2-cents.

don't just keep it to keep it... find someone that can use it and either sell or give it to them.

In 6 months to a year is will be worth even less.

Do not become a hoarder ;)
