x30 is plugged in but not charging

Hello-
I recently found my axim 30 after six or more months. I plugged it in and the green/orange lights are flashing but after leaving it overnight, there is still no charge. It only starts up if it is plugged in.
Do I need a new battery?
Hope you can help

Rule out the battery and buy a new one. They're not terribly expensive :)

When you say the orange and green lights are flashing could you elaborate?

If the battery is indeed dead then I'm not sure if the axim would even turn on plugged in. My understanding is you have to have a working battery in the axim for it to even turn on. I may be wrong but try a new battery first.
