Question for help: Safety Battery AXIM X 30

Dear AXIM X30 users and/or technical experts,

I ave not used my AXIM X30 for a year and now the safety battery does not function any longer. It does not reload and a message tells me that the battery is out of power.

How can I change the safety battery in my device - the manual does not explain how to do it.

I would be grateful for an easy to understand explanation.

I have the same problem so I checked the user manual and it referred to a backup battery, 20mA NiMH button cell. I could find nothing to indicate a battery port on exterior of case so I opened the case and found that there is no battery that I could find. The closest thing that looked like a button cell battery was the speaker.

If there is a backup battery it is well hidden.

I have high resolution pictures of the open case, which I cannot attach here because of limitations on file size.

If anyone out there has any more information I would like to hear about it.
