I'm having trouble connecting the Ostia software with my new X30. It worked fine on my X3i. The X30 finds the BT GPS receiver without a hitch and the connection looks good.
The problem is having the Ostia software connect to the GPS receiver.

The documentation on the HORRIBLE pharos site lists the com port on the X30 as com 7. It won't work for me, and I don't even see where I can set or view my ports on 2003SE .

Has anyone gotten this to work ?

Also, when I reinstalled Ostia on the X30 i got a message saying "This sofware may not work on this version of pocketpc" or something like it ... hmmm .... nothing on the Pharos site about that => arghghg.

seems the issue was that the gps receiver wasn't fully charged . it worked once it had some more juice in it.
