Landscape mode causes hard crash
Just got my X30 this afternoon, and have discovered a problem with landscape mode - it doesn't work!

I thought it might have something to do with the software I installed, but even after a fresh hard reset, the machine crashes when set to landscape mode. After a soft reset the Dell splash screen appears in portrit mode, then the Start button and bar appear along the left edge of the screen (which is the top in right-hand landscape mode)...then nothing else. The ONLY way to recover is to hard reset to factory defaults!

Any of you new owners play with landscape yet?

Some x30 high users have experienced trouble similar to what you stated. They returned theirs to dell and the replacement was fine. It is being speculated that a batch of x30 highs shipped w/ this problem, but that dell has corrected it as the new ones do not have the problem.

Yea, mine is the same way. Give them a call and they'll send a new one to you. I hope they ship mine soon.
