Hit the jackpot with problems
I got my X30 high the other day, and the first thing I noticed was that the screen is much less sensitive than the screen on the X30 mid (which I've still got). On a couple of the edges I feel like I'm going to damage it if I press it hard enough for it to sense it. Also, the middle feels spongy - it moves in quite a bit when you press it with the stylus. On top of this, I'm having stability problems. the screen with suddenly get white lines across it and the unit will freeze. If I do a soft reset I get what I have now termed the "PocketPC blue screen of death". For those of you who have not experienced it, the dell screen comes up and never goes away. It does not power off, it will usually not soft-reset, but when it does, the bsod still comes back. It has never recovered from one of these cycles. I did a hard reset and installed nothing, just synced Avantgo and it still happens.
I am getting paranoid now. I am going to get it replaced, but I've heard that the new units are shipping with some cheap Kyocera batteries that Dell picked up from Verizon...
