Connectivity Problem

hey all, back again to pick your brains...
finaly decided to get a cordless dial-up modem for my x30
well, got everything installed right, its sends the signal to the modem, modem dials, tell me that my username and password are wrong for my ISP, i know they aren't, any advice?

details:
AOL = ISP

Axim X30
built in bluethtooth/wi-fi
Socket Cordless 56k Dial-up modem, which uses the bluetooth
(its the one with the phone line that plugs into it, and stands alone, its not a card-type)

Last time I tried to set up a manual dial in for my isp (msn) I had a similar problem. I had put in the username, say: george123 and the password, say password. But what I needed to do was put in: MSN/george123 for the username, then the password....maybe you have to do this with aol?

i just tried different combos of things...
aol/username
psswrd=psswrd
no domain

username@domain
psswrd=*****
www.domain.com

a bunch of combinations and nothing, still the same error" username and password are wrong, check your settings...."

I just dont know...

Give AOL a call and ask them how to set up a manual connection.

[stupidity]i must admit my stupidity, tuns out, I didnt have any aol software installed, and hadn't registered my MS software...
all I can say is....
