Can you take the SD card out? without pushing it in first?THANKS!
usually when you put SD card in, you need to push it harder.
when taking out, you need to push it first in a little bit, then the card will be pushed out by some spring..
I just noticed that after I put the card in, I can take it out without
pushed it in. It seems the card is jsut stay there and no any
binding to the X30.

I just talked to Dell CSR. she tried both X3i and X30. she
said for x3i, you have to push it in then take it out. but for x30,
it can be taken out without pushing in.
WHAT a Mess! Why does Dell do this stupid thing??

mine can do that without any problem...
What did you use? My SD memory card is set flush in the slot on my X30/624, did you use tweezers or something? Y?BYC. ;)

Is this really a problem? I don't think anyone will have a problem with it falling out. It is kinda like bitching about the corner of the X30 being 89 degrees instead of 90 degrees squarded, it is a nonsense issue.
the problem is my x30 sometimes cannot refresh the content of
the SD card.
and my mapopolis has reported several times missing map when
running it.
I suspect some bad connection.

What SD card do you have? If it isn't sticking out of the more then a 1/8" then it is still going to have contact witht he terminals. Might be something wrong with your card or program that doesn't work well with WM2003SE.
Your SD card should fit snuggly in the slot and require downward pressure to remove if inserted properly. When that doesn't happen you can get corruption of your card making it impossible to read from. Corruption usually happens when information is being sent to or read from the card and the card is removed before that process stops. So my advice is to always push the card all the way in even if it looks like the card is in far enough, and never remove the card while using your GPS system. Turn the GPS Program off first then remove the old and insert the new card.

Hmmm, Yep, just ran the test myself on an X30 High. You can remove the SD card without "depressing it" first. Although "depressing the card to release it also works as always. Tried to dislodge the card by shaking it in an upward and downward reverse orientation and the card seems to hold firm.
I am now going to do the "spaghetti doneness" test and see if it holds fast....
