Installed Worldmate and for some stupid reason asked it to Auto update, should have remembered from my P800 how inefficient on power this program is when it keeps waking the system to connect to the internet. Battery life was just over 3 hours despite being turned off, and that includes WIFI an Bluetooth.

Last weekend I got about 3.5-4hrs on my X30H on battery listening to streaming audio using media player. It is set to "Auto" for the speed and the only other power save feature enabled is for the screen to turn off after a minute. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. Another option to the hard reset is clicking the "welcome.exe" file in the windows folder. Goes through a similar reset as a hard reset nut you do not lose any information.

Ok, I set the processor to MAX charged it to 100% enabled WIFI and turned it off. 8 hours later I turned it on and the battery is at 96%. Not to bad.

It seems that my battery life has improved now. I have always had it set to auto, and wi-fi has been off. Taking the Axim off the cradle yesterday at 4pm, not using it all night, slapping it on the cradle this morning at 7am, and power was at 97%.

Maybe some batteries just need a little more TLC.

Good ol' TLC - always helps (only once you have been through the swearing and kicking stage)
