My Axim X30h is on...I always turn my WiFi on when I want to use it and then Off before I shut down my Axim.
I use SilentKnights WiFipower to turn on the Wireless (I've also tried it using Dell's Wireless Power too, with same results).
It searches, searches, searches ... nothing.
From the Dell Utility I can see that it's checked my channel, but no luck connecting.
From within the Dell Utility I DISABLE RADIO and the ENABLE RADIO and it finds the signal almost instantly and I can enjoy the WiFi, Internet and wireless syncing.

This can't be right...what's up?

Any ideas?

Dude,


1- what router are you using ?
2- are you running wireless "G" with B disabled ? (X30 is 802.11B)
3- do you have encryption settings ? need a key ?

We need more info.... about your router. model #?

Sorry GT. This message was in this base for a few days with no response. I reposted in the Wireless forum and received responses within hours.
