Memory ?Error has been detected... Disturbing Error

I've searched the forums but havent had any luck. I'm getting an error message stating the following when turning my Axim x30 high on:

"A memory error has been detected press the (icon of the second circle button" to correct the error. If the system does not boot, press [power] + [reset] to clear all data in the memory and reboot the system."

I don't beleive it is under warrenty - so im rather concerned. When i am able to get the x30 to go after pressing the button (i think its the contacts one it says), i get a low battery warning, and a message saying it has gone into sleep mode. This hapens even when the x30 is fully charged.

Any input is appreciated.

I get that error after - I take out my battery while the unit is on, and put it back in.

Make sure your battery is seated properly... maybe remove it a few times... have you tried a hardreset?

I've tried the hard reset twice.

Try leaving it plugged in. See if the problem happens with AC.

If the problem goes away, suspect the battery. It could be lying to the PPC about its charge (LIon batteries have a monitoring circuit hiding inside) Borrow a battery to try if you can. (Dell mall kiosk maybe?)
