WiFi no longer connects

I just set up my WiFi router and connected my laptop. I set up WEP encryption and my laptop connects fine, but now my X30h will not. I set the encryption key in hex format on the ax, but when I use odyssey it says "requesting authentication." It never gets it and I can't connect. I was able to connect when it was unsecured, but I want my network secured? Ike's guide is not wm03se specific. I need help. Any place where I can find basic setup info for home wireless networks relating to wm03 second edition specifically?

What brand router?
Did you enable MAC address filtering?
Can you use WPA rather than WEP?

It's a D-Link DI-624 router. I haven't enabled MAC filtering only WEP settings. I'm just using Odyssey to connect. I can see my network with plenty of signal strength but not connecting. I'm pretty sure that it has more to do with the router settings and not as much with the ax, however I'd still like to find a basic set up guide that deals with second edition. Ike's guide is for WM03 and some of the screens are different in SE. I could connect fine when the router was unsecured.

Don't use odyssey, use the Dell WLAN utility. edit wireless profile from there and throw in your keys here
