Can't enable wireless in Dell WLAN Utility

I can't enable my wireless on my recently purchased Axim X50.

I am attempting to do this via:

Settings ==> Connections tab ==> Dell WLAN Utility

Tools ==> Enable Radio

I hear a click, and the screen quickly returns to the Connections screen.

But the radio is never enabled.

Any suggestions?

I had that happen once and simply reset it. Sorry if that doesn't work.

Sorry, I actually have an X30!

I don't have my manual with me right now. Pressed the button on the back and held it in for 5 seconds. Didn't seem to do anything.

Is there a trick beyond holding that little button in for 5 seconds?

Starting on the far left count six buttons skipping the Dpad. Or conversely, the far right button.

You do wanna make sure under Start -> Settings -> Buttons that button 6 is mapped to WirelessPower.

Then click OK till you are back to your today screen,
Button 6 is the one to the RIGHT of the HOME key, kinda on the semi-side of the unit...

Funnily enough, I have logged on tonight to ask about the very same problem - last night I was happily sat in bed using my X30 on my WiFi network and now today I can't get it to enable the radio function, no matter what I try.
Resetting doesn't work, and neither does trouble-shooting.

After having read the posts above about the mapping of the buttons, I re-mapped my #6 button back to 'WirelessPower' (after having disabled buttons #1 and #6 due to being able to accidently press them in both my Planet21 and Vaja cases).
This has solved the problem somehow. Now the Tools > Enable Radio function works every time.

Thanks!
