Syncing with NT (without USB)

I have a fairly new axim X30 that is set up to sync with my laptop. I use it get email at home and while traveling as well as other functions. The problem is that my laptop is sometimes not on the network so I need another way to sync. My thought was to use and old seldom used desktop in my office. The problem is that it runs NT and does not support NT. Is there any way to do the original setup for Activesync without a USB port. After the initial setup, I can use WiFi to sync.

Any suggestions or comments would be apprecaiated.

You can do the initial sync with Serial, Bluetooth, IrDA or (obviously) USB.
