Nongan

Ok. I had a problem with my serial port. It snapped, and part of it came off . I can't charge or connect. I called Dell, and their going to ship me a new one, but I have to send the other one back once I get it. Anyways, is there a way to make sure this doesn't happen again? I don't feel like returning my handheld to Dell all the time. Any thoughts? Thanks.
