Have you tried a soft reset and a hard reset? Does the charging LED show?

Doesn't sound good.

On the plus side the X51 is just around the corner supposedly. So you might see discounts on the X50 line

I would take the battery out and leave it for an hour and give is another shot. Just in case.

I am sorry for your loss my friend. On the bright side, the x50v will probably be cheaper with the release of the x51.

You could try to do this (works for me the last time)...

Plug the AC adapter without the battery, and power the device on.

Maybe give it a good firm whap. It could come back online. It's made in China so why shouldn't it? :X couldn't hurt.
Sorry for the loss though, I nearly lose my Axim X30M.

I think NOwire has a great idea. Try it and let us know what happens. Maybe it's just one of the 2 batteries.

Thanks for the reply, I tried it, still nothing except that irritating orange glowing power button.

Thanks again

I forgot to include that, while the battery is off the device, and the AC plug connected, is to do a Hard Reset...
