Hi,
I am a radio HAM and have an Axim 30. Now I would like to use my Axim for e.g decoding shortwave messages or controlling my receiver (RS232). How can I connect my device to the receiver and what do I need?

I'm not sure that there is a way that you can honestly... Even if you had the cables to connect it, you wouldn't have any software to do any of that...

Ok, but suppose I have the software for it, where can I get the cables, and what for cables?
Generally speaking, can I use my Axim to deal with external information - data
Suppose I have a temperature measure probe and I have the correct software, is there a way I can connect this probe to my device?

If your x30 has bluetooth you you can google for bluetooth serial adapter. that might help
