Awhile ago geeks.com had the BGP100 gamepad on sale reasonably cheap, so I got one, figuring that I can come up with something to mount my x30 in it. Anyway, aside from the fact that it doesn't fit around my x30 the thing works great, for the first few minutes. Then it disconnects. disable it in the driver, power cycle and reconnect results in another five minutes or so of operation. I don't notice lag or any other problems. While I wait for chainpus to get back to me do any of you have any suggestions?

Do NOT close the application once the connection has been made. I have had that exact problem before, and it appears that it was because of closing the application. Just minimize it if you can. That should solve the issue!

Thanks for the tip, seems to work perfectly now, though its getting late here so I only had time to do a few minutes of testing it lasted at least twice as long.
