pdair book-style case with mugen 1100 batt?
the 1100 mAh bulges out a bit more than the standard battery. i didn't think it would be a problem, but it crushed some of the neoprene in my aluminum rhinoskin case and the fit is now a bit loose when using the oem battery. i want a leather case but don't like the usual flip-over-the-top design. the pdair case sounds good, but will the larger battery deform the case?

If you're talking about the Mugen power battery (slightly larger than the standard Dell), than I used that set-up for a short time. (See my review here: http://www.mobiletechreview.com/tips...X3_cases_2.htm)
and I don't believe it was any sort of problem.

Good luck. My wife really loved that case.

You welcome! Good to hear. The leather was really soft and good quality, too.

got my case a couple days ago (via hong kong?!). the battery fit doesn't seem to be a problem, and the case has an overall high-quality feel. the sync cable will also work with it; the dell connector barely worked with my rhinoskin+regular batt, and not at all with the 1100 batt. the pdair belt clip juts out a fair bit farther than the rhinoskin, though, which makes it kind of bulky to wear. overall, i'm satisfied with it.
