Help with choosing a view accessories!!
Hey, everybody!!
I've got an X3i. I bought it almost 2 years ago, when I found out I would be going overseas to Iraq, with the expectation of using it instead of a laptop. When I bought it, I also purchased a few accessories, like extra styluses (which I never ended up using) and the Dell screen protectors (which absolutely suck). Now, I'm back from Iraq, and starting to go back to school. I've gotten into using my Axim for notetaking and organization, and the constant use and carry are starting to wear on it. I'd like to replace my stock stylus with a multipen type one, and I'm thinking of buying a few Boxwave Cleartouch Crystal screen protectors. Does anybody have any pens or other screen protectors that they would recommend? The reviews on this site are a little scarce in that department. Also, I'd kinda like to know just how the Boxwaves compare to those crappy Dell protectors. If they're even close to being that bad, I won't even waste the money.
The other thing I wanted to talk about are cases. The case I took to Iraq was a metallic, hinged case. I liked it because it was slim and didn't add much bulk to an already pretty large ppc.
Well, it took a pretty good beating in Iraq, but it performed well. Now, though, I'm ready to replace it. What I'm looking for is something fully enlosing without being too large, and I really don't care for all the extra credit card holders, etc. etc. One of my buddies in Iraq had a Palm Tungsten (Z3, I think) and his case was freaking awesome. Something like that would be great. If anybody has any recommendations, I'd be grateful to hear them.
