I have found much information on this site and others (howardforums, nuclear elephant) on how to enable the Motorola E815 for dial-up networking (##DIALUP) and to dial via Bluetooth. I have the Axim X3i (pre-BT), so am trying to do the same thing with a Gomadic cable.

With my previous phone in the same configuration (a Kyocera), I needed to "slow down" the phone's com port to 115.2 instead of 230.4 in order for the X3i to connect. I cannot find where on the E815 I can configure this, but I am unable to make a connection.

Connecting to the phone with a Laptop and a USB cable I am able to connect, so I believe the problem is the port speed between the X3i and the E815.

Any help is appreciated -- either configuration changes I can make on my Axim or on the E815.
