I've got a Belkin F8U1500 that I used all last year w/my X30 with no problems. Then I moved and haven't used the keyboard for several months. In addition, my X30 got wiped out months ago, and I had to reinstall everything. I reinstalled the keyboard software this week and that worked just fine. I put a new battery in my keyboard, but it doesn't seem to be working. Is the IR port supposed to light up when it's in use? (It's been so long since I used it, I can't remember!) Because I'm getting nothing. I've done all the stuff with lining up the ports, disabling incoming beams, etc. and nothing's working. It makes me think that the keyboard is somehow dead.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I have one as well and the IR port does not light up. Look at the stupid items - like making sure the battery is in the right way.

Also from the CD: "To access the keyboard application, tap “Start” and then “Wireless PDA Keyboard” on your handheld device. Enable – This will allow the Wireless PDA Keyboard driver to accept key input."

Hello:
Go online with your Axim and download the 2005 CAB file from the Belkin website, Then open the file in file explorer and it should install properly.
