Aximsitex3icon Extended Battery and Cases

I wasn't sure where to post this but here is my problem...

I'm looking at getting the Mugen 2000 mAh battery for my X30. :approve: I know I'll need a new case so I'm looking for a case also. The case is my problem. I found a few cases over at cases.com that are supposed to work. A couple from Piel Frama (WAY too expensive for me ) and a metal one. While the metal one is much more reasonable, I'm not crazy about having a giant piece of metal haning off of my belt. Can anyone recommend a leather case around $25 or less that will support the Mugen 2000 mAh battery.

If I have to, I'll get the metal one; keyword: have.

Thank you all for you help and recommendations! :nw:

I agree with you!!:rolling: the case is limited. Last year i used a soft leather case sold buy Nokia for a phone and charger, they were being sold sale for just 1$ !!!!!
I carried that in my bag but it has got a belt loop. It holds the X30 exactly! And has room for a second battery though its a not like a case!!

For a few weeks ive been useing the dell case with redused elastic!! the way it came it was far to tight a fit, Now i use that with the 950ma battery then when useing it i change to the bigger battery. Its not ideal.

If you use a battery pack then you can use the origanal battery and any case for that then just plug in before you use your X30 Im looking for a solution too!!:)

Sena do an excellent case for the extended battery. It may be too expensive for you but it has the great advantage that you can put your Axim in the cradle while it is still in its case to charge it or to Sync. I like mine very much.

If you want leather either Sena or Piel Frama are worth the extra cost - if it's metal then Rhinoskin.

It is worth shopping on EBay or in the classifieds here as people often sell new or nearly new and you can pick up a bargain.

Otherwise cases.com do 15% to memebers - see the discount section of the site - I have used them and they are very good - they also do combination offers sometimes on a battery and case etc.

I bought a leather flip case for extended battery in an ebay shop, quite inexpensive and very nice, would recommend. The make is PDair. You should be able to Google it.

I looked at the Sena cases. While they are very nice, they don't have a case for the X30 that supports an extended battery. They only have cases for the X5x that support extended batteries. I did email Sena about this and I am awaiting their reply.

Just so everyone knows, it's not a big deal if I can fit my Axim in the cradle. I don't use the cradle. I went cheap and just got the cable instead when I bought my Axim.

I got an email back from Sena and they said that they no longer sell an extended case for the X30

Question New battery for my Axim X30

I want to buy a new battery for my Axim X30, but I don't want to buy a new hard case.
Witch battery has the largest capacity but has the same size as the original Dell battery? And where can I buy them?
