inno pocket case not very good?

Hi,

I've been using the innopocket metal case for my axim x30 for about 4 weeks and find that it bends in many places quite easily. Already the pin holding the hinge came out and the hinge assembly got bent. The door doesn't close properly anymore. Is it just me or is this case very fragile?

Any suggestions for a different metal case?

And I thought I was rough on my cases! In my case ;) I have a couple of scratches on the door of the cases (which is better than having it on the AXIM) and the belt clips broke, ordered new ones. At least I can respray my aluminium and magnesium cases, do not know how scratch resistant leather cases are.

Do you think the PDAir case would be better for me? I don't know why I'm unlucky with this case :)

Yea innopocket cases are flimsy imho. I've had my refurbished axim since april when I bought I also purchased the aluminum hardcase. But I got tired of it because it opens like a book which I find to be awkward. So after looking at several cases I purchased the innopocket case from http://www.innopocket.com which opens more like a note pad and also has a reset hole.

After only two weeks the innopocket lid which has a plastic flap that snaps in place one of the nibs that snaps it in place has broken. The original Dell case has no damage even though it is much older.

I love my innopocket Mag case but I must agree. It is kinda flimsy. The hinge is plastic and I think that would be the part that would break. I've been pretty lucky though, only a small scratch on the case thus far. *knock on wood* Besides the hinge, the case is great. I'm not lugging my Axim through a warzone or anything so I'm not too worried.
