Bluetooth headsets do not work with Skype on a pocket pc. This is a known issue and hopefully Skype will address it in a future release.

and most older PPCs do not A2dp bluetooth profile for listening to stereo music over bluetooth.

You can get it to do mono music...

Hi. New to this forum, but I wanted to let you all know that I was able to get my Plantronics Voyager 510 to link with my Axim X30 and I downloaded Skype. Other than having a few hiccups, like having to reset, both appear to be working fine after installing a bluetooth toggle that I found on one of the PPC sites. Maybe it was this one before I registered, not sure. It was called "acbToggleBT" may have to Google it to find it.

Thanks for all the great information on here! :)

is this work well for u? good to know since everyone is saying bt & x30 doesn't work or x30 & skype doesn't work...is the bluetooth quality that much better-i'm not too keen on internal mic for phonecalls.

how about finding hotspots to use it? i was hoping i could walk aeound everywhere & use skype but alot of "available" networks on wififofum are too weak..& unfortunately it takes a few steps to be connected-so not as convenient as regular phone..any tips?
