Aximsitex3icon Power jack for Keyboard???

I recently got a Dell D2704 Keyboard for my X30. I read the product description and noticed that you could use the keyboard AND power your Axim at the same time!

I received my keyboard but didn't get the power plug.

I read what I was actually getting incorrectly and just assumed that one could use the syncing cable instead. The keyboard actually has a plug-in that is used to power/charge the Axim. The keyboard does work without the power cord but I'd like the added benefit of saving battery or charging with the cord.

So my question is what type of plug would I need to get for my keyboard??? I've emailed the person who sold it to me and if for any reason I cannot get the plug I would like to know what kind of plug to look for in Radio Shack or any electronics department anywhere. I noticed that it says 3.3V/1.0mA on the bottom of the keyboard and am not sure if that's the voltage I need. I also do not know the polarity. I've search engined this and can't find anything right now. If anyone could help I'd be very grateful!

Thank you.

The keyboard is designed to work with the Axim AC adapter.
All Axims use the same adapter, a PA-14, 5.4v 2400MaH

You can buy any sort of adapter with the correct voltage etc and plug type.
I believe the Positive is the center hole.
Many Ipaqs, PSPs and Casios are compatible.

You can get by with a lower voltage, it just won't charge as fast.

Just take your Axim with you and they will have an "AdaptaPlug" to fit the DC Input socket. Make sure you get the polarity right!!

(Something to remember when shopping for chargers: Never go to a Higher Voltage, higher Amps, MiliAmps and MaH is OK, as the device will only draw as much as it needs.........But a Higher Voltage can fry your device in a nanosecond........a LITTLE BIT Lower Voltage will just take a bit longer..........TOO much lower and it just won't do anything much at all).

If you want to read more about what is needed, type "AC Adapter", including the "", into advanced search and select "search titles only".

Sorry...typo. I am ordering a $5 (S&H included) OEM adapter from Amazon. It's a 5.4V 2410ma adapter T2411 PA-14.
