Is cradle included with X3?
When you purchase an X3, is the cradle included? Or do I have to go and buy one separately?

A person at a DellDirect store told me that it is included with the 400Mhz models, but I wanted to verify that.

In Aximsiteadmin's review, he states that the advance (400 Mhz) models, the cradel is included. But it isn't with the basic model. You wouldn't HAVE to buy a cradle though because you would recieve a sync cable.

The cost of buying an X3 Basic and adding the cradle (an extra $20) is $249 with no discounts.

The X3 advanced (no wifi) including the cradle is $329 with no discounts.

If you don't need the extra speed or memory I would save your money and get the Basic model. If you plan on using a second battery, the cradle would be a good idea as it can charge a second battery seperate from the handheld.

Dell typically sticks a week or two between their sales. Since one just ended on the X3 you might do well to wait a couple weeks and see if they do another %10 off.
