WiFi powerpoint presentation device
Does anybody know of a Wifi solution for a powerpoint presentation with a pda?
I know Linksys has a wifi presentation player, but not only it has horrible review, I don't even know if it'll work with PPC.

Any other idea?

Immagine walking in the room of your next seminar with the x5 in your hand and a Belkin 4in1 stylus+laser pointer. How cool is that?

There are two or three - Margi Presenter-to-go is reviewed by JakeRich in the staff reviews section. The review was on the CF card but we've noticed Margi also has an sd version (it's assumed that the sd version will work with the X3).

I have LifeView's FlyPresenter which works pretty well. AFAIK, it's only in CF format at the moment. I also remember seeing a third brand but can't remember the company at the moment.

Yes, the Margi and FlyPresenter are both great products.

However, I think that what Nico is asking is.....Is there a software solution that will enable you to use the Axim wirelessly (via WiFi) to control a powerpoint presentation (and probably draw on graphs and stuff too?)....basically a way to control powerpoint without having to have a VGA cable connected to your Axim.

If that is what you're asking, then I am not sure of a way to do it. However, it is very possible that there is a way that I don't know about.

Deftech you got it.
I know about Margi & Co.
Actually Margi I hate because you have to convert in their stupid format, while for the other I believe it's just a VGA connection so basically you should be able to show even a Flash presentation (which are actually much nicer if you know something about flash).

Anyway I was looking for something wireless. I even look better into the linksys and it's not at all what I was looking for. That one is more like something to connect to your remote pc and control it frome there (so you can play your presentation on your pc in your office and show it on the screen in the conference room).

I'm looking for wifi connection between a projector and my pda.
The only I found is Margi (DAMMMM) the included a margi presenter in one of the latest portable projector.
Not good for me.

Boxlight has a product called Projector Director. You can control up to six projectors with it, through a wireless 802.11b connection. We are considering buying this for work. Here is a link: http://www.boxlight.com/wireless/default.asp?X=278

That's it!!!!
Actually that's a software, but they have the HW solution too.
AIRPROJECTOR Wireless Imager
And there is a place here
http://corporate.auctionworks.com/st...7&sfid=1 3645

where it's "only" $239.

Anyway I'll try it and let you know how it is.

Thanks

Nico
