inklink for X3i

New user...tried to post earlier...anyway, got my X3i yesterday
also an inklink/samrtpad handwriting system...cant get it to work, uses IR..Anyone has a suggestion on handwritting capturing system...

did you turn on the IR in the connections in Settings-connections-Beam.

One last try, are you sure the IR transmiter on the Axim is lined up with the receiver? Also have you tried to Beam something using the IR to check if it is working?

Did you turn off the receive any beam option on the Settings ->connection -> beam tab ? Also, check the pen batteries. Mine died and I couldn't get it to work no matter what, but there's no indication the batteries aren't fresh.

Hi there. I am now the happy owner of an InkLink. In order to get it to work, you will need to give it fresh batteries and, in the ink note software on the handheld, set the commport to comm 4. Then it works.
