Serial Cradle/Cable Info
For those unlucky saps such as I who work at places where they are still in the stoneage using NT4, I talked with a sales rep at Dell today who said that he is "almost 100% sure" that a serial cable or cradle will be available within the next month for the X3. He said that the serial cradle for the X5 took around a month after its' release to be available and he figured it would be similar in this case.

If anyone gets updated information, please post it in this thread. I will be calling weekly to get updates as well.

It's not a usb-serial adapter that is needed however - it would be a serial-usb adapter. The usb-serial have the wrong gender connections at each end. The only thing that could be tried with one of those adapters is putting gender changers on each end.

Has anyone actually tried this?
