That didn't take long. I think I'll buy these instead of Dell's.

Going to place my order soon. I've been using Brando's protectors for over 2 years now, with no problems at all.

For what it is worth, I prefer the WriteShields.. Both are top of the line products, just a matter of personnal taste. But if you stop to think about it, both are way over priced per sq. inch of plastic.

I agree with bigstick that screen protectors are overpriced bits of plastic.

Maybe its because I'm relatively new to ppc's but I can detect very little difference between the regular naked touch screen and the screen with homemade protectors made from laser acetate.
(or maybe I'm just a tight arse and don't want to feel the difference)

Teech, the point of the protectors is not to give a different "feel" of the screen. it is to keep your screen free of scratches and wear.

you will definately notice a difference after a short while of usage with no screen protection.

Yes I understand that. My point was that homemade protectors work just fine while having a small effect (if any) on how the touch screen operates.

I agree that proper commercial protectors are probably more durable but for the $12 I spend for screen for a screen protector I could buy 100 sheets of acetate which will make 600 (or maybe more) homebrew protectors.
