Case w/extended battery

Hey guys, I'm considering getting the extended battery for my Axim. I've seen from the pictures that it sticks out quite a bit from the back. Are there certain cases out there (flip leather, rhino, etc.), that the unit will still fit inside with this battery attached?

If not, I may want to just carry around a second standard-size battery...

There are several cases that will fit it. The one I like the most is actually one that was designed, and hand crafted by a member of Aximsite. Look for the thread entitled Who is Interested in a Simple Cover.

Thanks, for the cases that I've seen online, they don't seem to mention whether or not they fit with the big battery. I'd like to know if there is a case out there that I like before I commit to the larger form factor.

Go to www.aximcases.com. They tell you in the descriptions of four (I think) of the cases that will fit the extended battery. Namely, the Rhinoskin Leather, the Case Techworks (which I have and works great), the Piel Frama (which is supposed to be one of the nicer cases), and the DSI Holster. Check them out.

Unfortunately, they seem to only sell x5 cases right now. Maybe I'll just have to wait until the x3 becomes more 'mainstream'.

Oh, you see that is my problem, I am retarded. I didn't read your profile and see that you have the X3, and I just assumed you had the X5. Sorry, I have no idea where to find the case you want.

My company manufactures a hard case called SmarterCase, our #146 series works nicely for the X5, and I believe our #126 Series will work well for the X3. How thick will the X3 get with the extra battery?
