sdio to usb???
i love my x3i, its great. its my first handheld and i'm very impressed with it. the only issue i'm having is the price of SD memory cards are expensive and i've got an external USB 30gb hard drive i'd love to be able to use as increased storage. so SDIO to usb does it exsist??? and if so how much does one of those adapters cost?

No, it doesn't exist. It is an arguable subject. There have been a couple people who have gotten them to work with Toshiba PPC's because they have an optional USB add on for them, but I am pretty sure no one has gotten it to work on the Axim.

someone in the forum found one. not a mainstream brand though and the cost was high. do a search and you may find the thread.

I think what you are referring to is the CompactFlash USB 1.1 Host. There have been some X5 users to get this working, but of course the X3 does not have a CF slot. I have yet to see a SDIO USB Host to rise to the market.
