what does 32x secure digital high speed card mean?

I saw one of these cards advertised on Amazon (lexar media) for $76.00. Was wondering if anyone had any experience with these or knowledge of them? Wondering if the "high-speed" makes any real performance difference?

thanks!

The higher the "X" Number, the faster the card will work.

"X" = 150KB/s.....32X = 4,800KB/s = 4.688MB/s

...however, as late as last June, I think happycheesecake was reporting that many of lexar's 32X SDs were error-prone, and I suspect, not actually 32X. That was the last meaningful information I heard about them. I do not know the quality of current Lexar 32X SDs. Has anyone actually benchmarked one?

There's a good chance they're fine, but I'm a little suspicious of them.
