What the difference???

OK, quick question.. When i got my axim i also got the usb travel cable.. what is the difference between that cable and the aftermarket sync+charge cables? I noticed that my axim also charges with the sync cable that i have from dell right now.. but only when the screen is off, or the unit is turned of...

I am assuming there is no difference.. since usb can only put out 500 mA.. I can't fore see having the unit and charging the sametime via usb...

am i wrong?

thanks.

oh, addition to that.... the dell travel cable also has the ability to accept the ac adapter..so when using the cable and the ac adapter i can charge it and use it.... also charges much faster that way, then just using usb.. once again.. because of the whole 500 mA thing....
they should have made these things run with firewire.. fast transfer + power.. meh..
