Axim 3I modem??

Hello, I would like to know how i can (without using Bluetooth) connect to the nternet using a cell phone or another means. I have a new Axim X3I. Verizon does not have a bluetooth phone yet so i can not use bluetooth. I have seen some other wireless devices that plub in flash card.

What I want to do if i go on the road and I am not around a wireless access point, I would like to get online using my cell phone Mot. T720.

Thank You
Frank

I would shoot an e-mail to info@gomadic.com, and see if they have any cables available for the X3 at the moment. They've been on a very short supply, and have been unable to list them on their webpage yet due to this. They should have everything back up and working soon, so that they can make X3 connectors at a normal production level.

I tried using my nokia cell phone (using infrared) to go on the internet and it worked fine, i think when u set up the connection you just choose Infrared from a combo box.

www.thesupplynet.com has cables that you can use to connect the x3-Mot-T720, go to the web site and search under Manufacturer, and it will bring up a list of anything that they carry for the two, that you want to connect to.

Thanks for the website information. I've been online two hours looking for such a cable from Dell, Verizon, Belkin, Samsung, and an engine search.

:p
